I guess it's not a problem to bid in another currency. I've never done it and guess I should be prepared for a couple of "currency exchange" fees if I win. My credit card company charges me about 4% for ANY charge to a merchant with a foreign address, whether US$ or foreign currency! I even asked my Canadian pharmacy if they had a US address and card account. They did, and I used it, and I was still charged the fee by Master Card, probably because the name of the company had the word "Canadian" in it .
