If anyone is interested in this beautiful tribute set, I put it on eBay. Please feel free to take a look. (Link is here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330466612354&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:US:1123 .)
These items are still offered from a consignment lot.
The following items are available . As mentioned previously, prices include shipping in the US and PayPal or most forms of snail mail payments are accepted. See something you like, just send me an email, or post a tag and ID the item(s) wanted.
Offered here from a consignment lot is a set of 6 Chipcos from the Casino Chaudfontaine, Esplanade 1
Chaudfontaine 4050 Belgium. The casino seems to still be in operation, but I do not know the history of these chips. Please note that these are the earlier styled, linen finish, Chipcos. The 50 Fr. and 1,000 Fr. (with the pink spiral) are unused ( NEW). The other four chips are very used ( WU).
Because of a very limited supply of the WU 1,000 Fr. chips (4 total) I can only offer 4 sets of these chips and after that, I can only offer 4 more sets of the remaining 5 different chips. However, the 5 chip chipsets are NOT offered yet. Please note that I will NOT break up any sets, but for those collectors that like one example per casino or locale, I do have 2 extra WU 500 Fr. chips, which are available now as a lone chip purchase.
Pricing is as follows:
Set of six different chips - $20 (includes postage in the US)
Single chip (only 2 available!) - $6 each
This is a first come, first served offer. I will pick out the best chips available in the order of confirmed purchases received. This consignment offer accepts PayPal and most forms of snail mail payements. Please post a tag here or send me an email to lock-up one of the 4, 6-chip chipsets available now or either of the two extra 500 Fr. chips!
Offered is this set of 6 Chipco (linen finish) chips in what appears to unused condition ( NEW). These chips are from a consignment group and I do not know specific details about their existence. However, according to The Gaming Table, this casino did exist in Port El Kantaoui, Tunisia, North Africa from 1991 to 1993. There is a notation indicating "lost license" and now operates as the Stardust Casino.
This colorful set of chips should appeal to any foreign chip collectors, Chipco collectors (especially if Chipco's older, linen finish examples are desired) and sample set collectors (one each of every denomination).
Offered at $13 for the set, which includes shipping in the US, this offer accepts PayPal and most forms of snail mail payment. I have more than one set available from this consignment lot.
I received these in the consignment lot I am offering. Both sides of each denomination (5, 25 and 100) are shown.
Offered as a set of 3 for $20, which includes shipping in the US, I can only offer 2 complete sets at this time.
First come, first served and I make no representation of casino validity, however they give every indication of being Bud Jones made CICs. These are the very same chips once offered here for a great deal of money with the catchy sales arguement that these will never be available for less.
Well, they are now!
An earlier example of a Chipco, linen finish, 39mm chip. Apparently commemorating the "Spa Euro Race" June 18 - 20, 1993, which I believe is an annual event in Spa, Belgium. While "100" is indicated, there is no denomination value.
I have 20 of these chips from a consignment lot and they are available at $7 each, which includes shipping in the US.
As with the other consignment sales, PayPal and snail mail payment is accepted.
Offered here from a consignment lot, is a 1998, Floridian Chapter of the chip in dark blue on a weave mold. This chip is a throw back to the time that the had a network of Chapter Clubs. I have 4 of these chips available for $7 each, shipped in the US.
Thanks for looking!
Jim
