I haven't seen "The Marrying Man", nor have I seen ERV in person (I was just a toddler when it was torched ).

Have you even seen "Las Vegas Shakedown"? I believe that a lot of that was shot at the ERV, and it was released in 1955...so should be pretty true to what the place looked like!

I've been trying to remember where I heard that it was filmed at ERV, and I think that several years ago someone (Sheldon?) posted a list, with descriptions, of about 20 movies that were filmed in Las Vegas...and this was one of them.
