Terry and I both enjoyed the ride. One suggestion is to have a package with some of the hotels in Virginia City where you can ride up on Friday and back on Saturday or Sunday. I know the Tahoe House would like that type of package. Or, if staying in Virginia City, as we were, that you can ride down and then back up to Virginia City the same day. We were told to do that we had to buy 2 round-trip tickets. We rode round-trip and then drove up to Virginia City to spend 2 nights.
