Neither Gloria or Nick are listed in the 1945, 1950 or 1952 phone books.

Searched a few LV tourist mags from the 1940's & 1950's to see if I could find them listed as entertainers anywhere...nope.

Played with google a little, then went to Wicki. Interesting that "sassi" is part of the word assassin...

In the 19-teens there was a Nick Sassi who was involved in a gang war in New York. Probably not the same Nick Sassi, but...????

Then there was a Gloria Elwood who was a singer; she performed at the Park Avenue in New York, operated by John Ruggiero (or Ruggiera), in October 1951. That seems more likely than Nick Sassi from Wickipedia being on a marquee! vbg
