I know this sounds far fethed, but I am an avid metal detectorist. Is there a name for that? The rumor is that Jean Lafette heard of poor Nap being held prisoner on an island and set sail to rescue him. He did so and left an impostor in his place-- so Napoleaan is not in Napolean's Tome and is that the reason it is so hard to verify. (seven coffins one inside the other then it is all concreted in.) He is supposed to be buried an a mound in Louisianna along with Jean and his cousin Paul Revere. I have absolutely no confirmation of this. I just thought it was an interesting tale. Imagine finding three sets of bones on a high mound in LA. and wondering whose they were??????
