You may be right. I haven't visited it in several years but when I was last there, they had old ivory poker chips from 19th Century casinos (at one time I had a set of 700 ivory horse head chips that were in a box shipped to a Saratoga Spa gambler and with the date 1856) on them. I was told that in 1996 when they had the big sale of the Lake House gambling items that some were bought for the museum. I'm not going up there in the winter cuz I don't ski but will stop by in the spring and talk to them.
