Most collectors have this listed as SVC or SVD, I know I had it listed as SVD when I got the chip in 2000. I did not read the Mason card right until a few years later. Another example of the phantom lines on some Mason Die runs.

I have a note on this one that says:
Also owned The Farm and Plantation in Hallandale. I have known chips from both places.
On to what most people consider the most famous and very desired chips from Florida.
This chip is especially dear to me.
In 1999 our dear friend and one of our Club founders, Janice O’Neal called me.
She said she had a bunch of illegals if I wanted them. You bet!!
I think there were about 30 of them. The Floridian 50 was one.
Sounded like she wanted to give them to me. I would not hear of it. She finally said,” OK $2 bucks each.” I said too cheap. She finally went to $3 each and said, “that’s it.” If you ever met Janice, you would know it was useless to argue any further.
Rest easy my friend. You were loved by many.
If you collect Florida illegal/legal chips, Mark and Myrna Lighterman’s book,
“The Complete Guide to Florida’s Gambling Establishments Both Past and Present,” is a must have book.
Even if you don’t collect chips, the history and illustrations in this book are amazing.
