Hi all- I did a little exploring today and found some history- the top pic shows the Tropicana in about 1960.... sorry its a bit blurry, but notice the large "porthole" windows. these type windows were on each side (north & south) this shot shows the south side. I found an access door to the north side today that leads out onto the roof of the original casino building, now used for an employee smoking area.

I found myself in another one of my beloved "time travel" moments and took a few shots. The bottom pic is one of those, showing the portholes on the north side. Behind me was the exterior walls of the original round showroom/lounge. Hope you like going back in time with me.
