I finally heard from the seller and he agreed to let me send payment for just the auction lot along with a pre-addressed and stamped bubble mailer. So the issue is resolved as far as I am concerned.

Since so many of the trades and sales in our hobby involve shipping items, perhaps it would be worthwhile for the Club to set up guidelines for shipping items that would apply to these transactions, unless other terms and conditions were agreed to prior to deal being made. How about it Neal and Jim?
