Yes, because when you do that it defaults to the correct URL.
Cant do anything but wait for the system to 'catch up'.

For the first few hours, everything was effectively being redirected through the old server.
Once DNS changes are complete, the identical old URL's are correct for this server.
Inbetween, some people will be in limbo
