Welcome to the new look chipboard.
There are a couple of things you need to do to avoid problems.

Firstly, remember these two things.
Profiles are shared between the three bulletin boards, you do not have a different one for each bb.
Only one profile can exist for each EMAIL ADDRESS.

If you have already successfully posted on thestrikepoint or slotcardbbs AND/OR created a new profile (or used your old one successfully) then all you should need to do is FIRST go to 'My Preferences' and enter the same info you are using and save it to update your cookie.

IF YOU HAVNT DONE THE ABOVE
1. If you already have a profile from before and you know the details exactly, then go to 'My Preferences' as above and enter yout data exactly as it is in the profile. Your old profile will still be valid if you get it right.
2. If you dont have an old profile then go to 'My Preferences' and enter what you like. Then, if you wish to set up a profile you mts do so using exactly the same data. Names and email addresses are CASE SENSITIVE.

Some of will experience some problems because you either cant remember your old profile password (if it lets you view your old profile then there is a password reset link which will email you the password), or because your profile pre-dates even the software version we were using, or because you have multiple old profiles in the old database.
In either of those cases, email me or use the 'Trouble Ticket' link at the top and I will reset it for you.
