As much as anyone else, I value independent thinking. If my many posts on this and the club board haven't made that clear, I don't know what else I can do to make it so. Neal, Marty and Ralph have posted enough opinions to show that none of them are anyone's patsy, either. If you doubt our willingness to think for ourselves on any particular issue, reread the threads on mandatory club membership for chapter members.
On the other hand, very little of use is going to get done by a group of people who can't work together toward common goals.
Webster, by the way, defines "teamwork" as "work done by several associates with each doing a part but all subordinating personal prominence to the efficiency of the whole." You'll notice this does not require anyone to stop thinking.
And, if working together for the betterment of the club, rather than personal self-aggrandization, is a "bad" thing, then I guess I'm ready to be a "bad" guy.
