In the article that Todd Barrett wrote on the Circus Circus he states "In 1979 Circus Circus bought Slots-A-Fun Casino located just to the south. Sarno built the smaller casino in 1973, and had to move the carousel out front to accommodate it. The small six year old casino was remodeled, but kept as a separate entity from Circus Circus."
