I also have to get my windshield on the van replaced since it was cracked by a stone thrown up by a truck in Texas - started out as a tiny crack and now it is almost all the way across the windshield. We also had to have the battery replaced in Texas and we had a flat tire in Virginia that had to be replaced because they could not repair a srew hole in the sidewall. Other than that, it was a pretty normal trip.
I am also planning to go and pick up chips from the local Delaware Charity Poker Rooms - possibly starting tonight. These are small places and they hours of operation are very limited. I will also be getting to Dover Downs and Delaware Park next week on our way to Atlantic City. Nancy and I are going to Bally's for 3 days, comped and we also have about $450.00 of free play to use at Bally's, Caesars, Harrahs AC, Harrahs Chester and Showboat. Also several free meals and I still have about $300.00 in reward credits left from our trip.So we should have a good time using up all the freebies !!
I'm sure it will take a few weeks before I get everything on my chip collecting list completed. I will be heading to Boston on August 9th to put up a Chip Exhibit at the ANA Annual Convention in Boston. I plan on going to Maine and hopefully seeing some of my chip friends along the way. Unfortunately Nancy won't be able to go with me since she has Jury Duty for 2 weeks starting on August 9th.
Also, I still haven't completed the addition to our house including the "Chip Museum" and a master bedroom, bathroom, etc. I'll get it done sometime !!!
Did I mention that Nancy and I are going to Europe in October for the birth of our newest Grandchild - Nancy's daughter now lives in Amsterdam. I plan on traveling and seeing as many Casino as I can especially Monte Carlo and Baden Baden in Germany. I plan to stay for about 2 weeks, but Nancy may stay with her daughter and 2 year old Grandson and the new baby for a couple of months. The new baby is due on October 21st which happens to be Nancy's birthday.
Well that's enough rambling for now.
Take care,
Jerry
