I was at Monticello Raceway about Labor Day and there was no casino nor any construction. I don't know anyone that can build a casino between September and November. Make that a legal casino <g>.
There has been talk of building a casino at the Raceway for a while and it seems to be getting closer each year, but nothing firm yet. Last summer there was talk of a casino at the former Kutshers Country Club, in addition to or instead of the Raceway location. There was some involvement from the Park Place organization.
