Lets modify that even further. There is nothing wrong with selling something you don't have possession of, but can make delivery on, and you do not have to let the buyer know that you don't have possession. I have products that I advertise as a wholesaler drop-shipped from the manufacturer direct to my customers. It is a common practice for those whose business includes distribution sales. This practice allows me to sell at a lower cost due to not having to warehouse every item, and shipping charges are only figured into the cost once instead of twice (once to get it to me, then again to get it to my customer.)

While this scenario has nothing to do with the transaction between Andy and the other person, the bottm line is, the seller better be able to deliver.
