The more worn chip is the newer chip. The yellow chip is at least 50 years old. I can think of 2 reasons why the yellow appears older: 1) Even though the green is from 1931, it may not have been played with as much as the yellow; 2) The clay formula used by Burt might have produced a softer clay than the clay made by USPC.
