And I don't have the answer. But I am thinking that it is open so there will be no trapped gases. The dice are not touching each other which I like. I was considering cutting small archival board squares to sit in the bottom of each hole. I use that now on the molding I had the dice sitting on.
I am not 100 percent sold on this idea yet. But right now seems like the best one yet.
