... "the customer is always right"? Particularly in the eBay setting, hardly anyone seems to think this anymore.
Granted, as I already did, that $2 isn't that big a difference on a $500 sale, the principle remains the same and IMO the buyer should be able to choose which form of delivery he prefers and save the $2 if he wants.

Maybe so, but it's still a lousy attitude. I work as general counsel for a company that is going to do sales in excess of $100 million this year. We ALWAYS let the buyer choose the method of delivery (and thereby allow the buyer to control his own freight costs). ----- jim o\-S
