I was playing roulette at the French wheel at the Paris. The croupiers would place your bets for you at that table. The croupiers had learned my betting patterns and they were pretty good at placing my bets. Some would remember from my previous visits. Part of my betting pattern on that table was to always have at least a $5 chip straight up on zero. The ball landed on zero, and when I looked at the table, there was no chip on zero. I said I always bet on zero, and the croupiers agreed, but they didn't know what to do about this spin so they called a pit boss over and explained the situation. The pit boss looked at them, looked at me, and then he told them to put a chip on zero and pay me!
