Playing in a tournament is way different than playing in a regular group. If you work hard to preserve your capital you stand a good chance of advancing to the next round. I was in a BJ tournament once where the other two guys were about equal in chips and both were way ahead of me. It was the last hand. Fortunately I was betting last and after seeing their bets I knew that the only way to win was if they both lost. I bet $5 and they both busted. I advanced to the next round.
