Well, I'll be darned. Robert, I have to hand it to ya. I didn't even think about that. According to the USPS web-site Priority Mail from Mississippi to San Diego (as far away as I readily knew a ZIP to) with $500 insurance and no return receipt would be $8.80 (a LOSS of 25¢ to this particular shipper).

Doesn't really sound so bad now. That IS assuming the seller is going to insure it (who wouldn't?)
