Since I wasn't around for the end, I didn't witness the goings-on in person, but I heard stories about blinds doubling every couple of hands, etc. Like they were pushing the players out the door. Is this true?

Was this due to the inexperienced dealers from the Dealers School? Did the Club only have access to the Brunswick Room for a few hours? Something else?

It just seems odd, considering everyone paid $90 to participate in the tournament..and it wasn't a charity event, or anything like that..
