Jim, I have to say I feel differently.

as a regular poker player who plays daily, I see more often than not, a deal worked when everyone has reached the money.

I personally have no problem with working a money deal for either all or part of the prizes, however when a trophy is involved, I still believe that play should continue until a "Winner" is determined (Even if the money split is already agreed to).

I know some feel strongly against ANY chop, but I will ALWAYS agree to a chop as long as the stacks are somewhat similar in size. Usually at that point, one hand could decide the difference between a chip leader and busting out and luck becomes a much greater factor than skill.
