Sitting here with the first eggnog of the holiday season, cracked open that jug of Baccardi’s I bought at Jackpot NV. on the way home last spring. Measured with a HRH shot glass I got for joining their slot club and I’m looking over the 17 chips that walked outta The Last Frontier in La Center WA. with me this afternoon. Ahh, chip degeneracy! Better than riding with poop hounds and strangling pheasants alongside the Queen, eh whot? The Last Frontier is mainly a poker room in a village about thirty miles from my house and of course they have those free poker magazines. Picked up one called Western Gambling Journal which is mostly a rag to puff the joints in Washington and Oregon and sell ‘em ads. In the directory in the back they had all the 411 stuff on these places. 44 card rooms and casinos in Washington! That’s a lot, I’d say and I noticed some were missing so there has to be even more than that. They all have chips too… cool. Hoping some of you fellow Pacific Northwesterners will post scans of these pieces often, no need to wait for a GO, just post some for the heck of it! Soon as I get my last group of refugees sorted, I’ll be putting them up for adoption to the easy life away from the gaming table.
