As I continue my research on illegal clubs of LaSalle, Il. I continue to meet some really unique individuals who have lived in my home town. Many of these individuals I have known since I was very young and never realized their connection to illegal gambling(the favorite pastime in LaSalle)! Kelly and Cawley's was the "bigtime club" until the final raid of 1952. The following clubs also were raided and table games, slots, and chips during the raids in 1952. Club 359, Tinney's Silver Congo, El Mirador, The Stables, The Rocket Inn, The Cotton Club, The Senate, The Empire, Little Jimmy's Club 109 and The Rose Bowl. I have included a scan of a picture I was given of the raid on Kelly and Cawley's below. Looks like many chips for me to find.
