I had a bidder retract in the last ten minutes of an auction yesterday and give no explanation. The same bidder later was high bidder on the same item in another auction. I didn't get home from the AC Chapter meeting until later in the evening after being away for a week. I had updates from ebay during the week that the bid was at $51. When it closed the bid history left me confused.
The retracting bidder is "chezparee" and seems to have a history of retracting bids.
Is this right? Aren't there rules regarding retractions? Do I have any recourse?
