About a month or so after we got home from that trip to LV one of those Monte Carlo trays showed up on ebay. I was keeping an eye on it, to see where the price would go (I knew we got a good deal from you, but I was watching it anyway ).

There were 3 big/regular ashtray bidders on it...one of them dropped out around $700 or so, but the other 2 kept battling it out. The final bid was over $3500.00!!!!!!!!!!! I think that was the last time I saw the auction winner bid on an ashtray...next time I saw him on ebay, he was bidding on Rolex watches. I knew that the underbidder already had a Monte Carlo tray, so I always wondered if he was trying to "teach a lesson" to the winner...who had been pushing ashtray prices up! Anyway, it was crazy to watch the last 15-20 minutes of that auction!!

I'm just sorry we missed you on our last trip, Lou, we were looking forward to seeing you! Are your other 2 pawn stars appearances as a consultant, or are you selling stuff?
