Wow... I'm having deja-vu! I just got the same boot put on the same leg for the same exact reason. Broken ankle, 6 screws and a plate to fix it. Got a "walking" boot that I cannot walk on for a month. No pain here either, just getting stir crazy being stuck in the house and unable to work. I know this post is over a week old, but I hope your healing up and can walk again soon.
