The Adolph Kroch (founder Kroch & Brentanno's) c&s was delivered in 1959 to Kroch & Brentanno's in Chicago. At the time, the store was being run by his son, Carl who also ordered a set of chips for himself. I, quite naturally, attribted both chips to Chicago. It turns out that papa Adolph Kroch was living Laguna Beach in 1959. So, although delivered to Chicago, the chips were for use in California.
