When you find the Syracuse connection let me know. I have done a little digging and know that there were several illegal clubs at least during the war years. I intend to go through the newspaper archives one of these days and see what else I can dig up. We know the "SYR" chips that everyone has are from an illegal Syracuse club but I have not as yet found a reference to as to location or dates of operation.
