Info on new Gaming Chuck and others.
I was in Vegas a couple weeks ago. I was talking with a few of my friends that are pit bosses and they have informed me that Gaming has sent out a memo instructing the cage personel to sell chips ONLY for gaming. they are not to be sold for collecting or souvenirs. So they said when buying chips tell them you are using them for gaming. But even at that they will instruct you to get them from the tables. I thought it was just MGM properties but I was told it was for all Casinos. Now that may also be a marketing tool, and making it that much more inconvenient for the customer or collector. This was just put out last month, so it is something new. So be prepared if more and more Casinos start making it more difficult for the collector. So far not all of them are doing this. I only had problems with Luxor and Excalibur. Others no problem. So all I can say is good luck. Hope that helps.
