Gene, these MC chips were mostly found in the area of Havana. Plenty have been found and only in two colors , so far, the brown and the green. The mold was seen around the40's in Cuba, not before. But, also in that area, the port, red zone and Chinatown is where Lansky and the mafia dumped the chips from the USA closed casinos (did not dump, they literally moved the casinos there). So, almost all of the USA chips found in Cuba were from Illegals casinos and most were casinos from the Lansky group, a few Chicago mobs and the Cleveland 4.

You had mentioned early you did not recognized them. Does that still holds true. If so, and nobody else comes up with some valid "possible origin from where I can work" I will have to leave it with the "Unknowns in Cuba" in the Cuban catalog.
