membership has lapsed for over a year, you have two options --
1) if you want to keep your OLD number, you need to pay your "back-dues" missed.
2) If you don't care about the number, then you'll be issued a new one

Now -- if your membership has expired within the last year, just renew & you keep your old membership number. But please note, your membership will expire one year after the last expiration date. Examples:
A) your membership expired December 31 2009. If you renew now, you keep the same number & your membership now expires December 31 2010.
B) your membership expired June 30 2009. If you renewed now, it would expire June 30 2010.

In cases A & B above, the would generally send you copies of the CCTN that you had missed. Unfortunately, we are COMPLETELY OUT of any older CCTNs (even Vol. 1 of this year), so you would get....hmmmm...nothing (sorry). That is why it is important to renew on-time!!
