Well, as you know, sometimes "pathetic, lowball, can't win" bids do win. And often they don't. I've had that happen to me as a buyer and as a seller. As for not bidding when a friend already has bid on the item, that obviously is a personal choice. By the way, Larry, did you notice the <g> in my post? Apparently not.
