I was up early to have breakfast with a friend passing thru to the Hot Rod run in Iowa
so with extra time i went to NUMEROUS garage sales and NUMEROUS estate sales
in my area and all the way to work, about 45-50 miles.
Estate sales were older homes, and newer, some in county club communties.
One of the homes, was an old women who asked me what i was looking for, when i told her casino memerabilia/chips, she said her and husband used to go to the Stardust all the time,for many years,she had great stories and memories, and after some more lengthly conversation, she said she had some chips too!
I was up and ready to go by then. Long story shorter, the chips she showed me were generic plastic poker chips, and the cards generic,
and the ashtray to was not vegas either
She never said she brought any chips home from the Stardust! but went there all the time.
Through conversation I ASSUMED that! My bad, I was done for the day.
She was so happy to tell her stories though
