I was a great admirer of his, so whenever I didn't like the candidates for some office, I'd write him in. Must have voted for him 10 times or more, I guess.

He was an LA county superior court judge, too, and later an associate justice of the 2nd District Court of Appeal.

I appreciate the suggestion that I run for Senator, Peter, but I think that means I'd have to drag my carpetbag back there on a permanent basis. Not prepared to do that! Too cold, too much snow and too far from my kids!
