He did in fact take a beating...but the funny thing is, I don't even plan on using the chip to buy in. I just want it for my collection! I was trying to bid, but froze up at the last minute. I had already known the reserve to be $800. I was planning on keeping one and reselling the other. If I can get my hands on one, I'd grab it. Crazy I know, but I love WSOP H&Cs.
