Hey Andy, You have to live here to fully understand the complexities of this state. On the one hand you have blue-haired ladies originally from New York, their husbands who play golf all day & wear white shoes & polyester pants, as opposed to deep south farmers, upper crust Palm Beach types like J.B. & then the Christian coalition on the I-4 corridor. In the northern part of the state you might as well be in Alabama or Georgia, except that they root for FSU & think Bobby Bowden is a God! Add in the Hispanic population in south Florida & the parrot heads in the Keys & you can see how anything can get screwed up! It's a wonderful place to live, except that it has hurricanes in the summer.
