I'm not a local & it's been almost a year since I've been out there but here's what I think:

I heard that the million bucks is gone from Binions.

As far as shows go, we enjoy Lance Burton's magic show at Monte Carlo, it's reasonably priced ($45 ballpark). Another show we enjoy is Mystere at Treasure Island ($75).

As for things to see, pirate battle at Treasure Island (get there early & watch out for pick pockets), Volcanoe in front of Mirage, Caesar's Forum Shops, Fountains in front of Bellagio, Hoover Dam is cool (go in the morning), Fremont Street Experience.

Food, we like the World Carnival (?) buffet & the sea food village buffet at Rio.
