Re: SNCCC Fall Show / CCA Membership Table

I’d like to thank:

- Chris Carlson, Scot Parriot, and Jim Follis for stepping up to help me with setup, tear down, and manning the table.
- Sharona Baichman for putting together the box of CCA items for sale.
- Jay Sands for providing me with the tools needed to sign up new members and receive renewal monies on behalf of the club
- The CCA board for supporting the request for me to utilize the trading of table space with the SNCCC
- Jerry Vergatos for putting up with my delay in getting him my list of volunteers (for badges).

The CCA doesn’t have any goodies to offer new signups (or even stoppers-by, if that’s even a word), but if any dealers / members would like to contribute ANYTHING to the table for me/us to give out, please bring it by the table during setup. It could be handfuls of chips from your “dollar boxes”, ashtrays, dice, t-shirts, hats, etc. Anything that a new member might like to have as a little bonus for joining us. If your donated items aren’t taken and you want them back, provide something with your name on it so we can bag it up for you to grab at the end of the show. If you don’t want/need it back, I’ll add it to the CCA donated items and either use it at the next event so attend or let the club auction it off next June.
Other ways to help the club:

1. Make it a point to ask your visitors if they’re CCA members. If not, guide or walk them over to our table.
2. Buy some club merch. We won’t have a lot, so pop over early for best selection.
3. Take a shift at the table (short or long). Or heck, just come over and shoot the sh*t with me/us. I’ll be at the table the entire time other than making a sweep of the room to look for rarities on my Nevada $5s list.
4. Give me some ideas on how to improve the club’s presence at this and other collectibles events. I’m hoping to do this at the January ANA show and others.
5. Let me know if you can “man a table” at other regional events in your area. One of the hardest things to do is find people to represent the club at these events. Part of it is because people come to the show to look at the goodies and don’t make time to sit at a table, much less be responsible for setup/tear down.
