Here's photo of The Mirage that I took a couple of weeks ago ... the "after" look as it is just before closing.

And here's a scale-model "before" look, from a color print photo that I bought 20+ years ago. Dated 1988, as seen written on the back. I think the photo is from a newspaper or magazine file. It represents the look of the Mirage prior to the public announcement of the Mirage name -- see the "Golden Nugget" name on top of the building. I think this was a 3-D scale mock-up of the property to be built by the Golden Nugget public company being run by Steve Wynn.

The finished property closely resembled the mock-up IMO. I'll miss it.
