I've been going through boxes while looking for the Club dvds that I told David he could borrow. Good news, I found them!
I've also found 25 years of memories in the trinkets, business cards of friends who have passed on and many "oh yeah" pieces. I'd forgotten that long ago I collected casino bungee cords or that one year almost everything I bought at the show was slot machine related.
You guys might not know what the charm is but I'm willing to bet that a few of your wives do. This one is from the 2012 Ladies' Tea - an unofficial event hosted by Sandi Steffner that was the precursor to the Ladies' Luncheon held during recent conventions.
The "Passport" was the 2011 Convention "Jr. Member" activity. Fifteen dealers helped make this activity one that got the kids excited about being on the bourse floor. The kids had fun, the dealers had fun and I enjoyed the challenge of putting it together.
And then there's my partner in crime, Wayne at the 2001 auction. We were silly tired by that point of the show.
