At the Volunteer Reception, held at the end of the convention, David Spragg told the amazing story of making prop chips for a casino scene in the movie "The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar", a short firm by Wes Anderson and staring Ben Kingsley and Benedict Cumberbatch. He was then asked to be an on-set consultant to train the dealer and players and for the proper appearance and operation of a 1960's London casino. The film was released September 2023 to rave reviews and recently won the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film. Cast and crew were awarded Oscar statues and David revealed his at the end of his talk. The name of the casino in the film was Lord's House. Congratulations David and thanks so much for the chip you know that I wanted.
