I first became involved with his "creations" many years ago. At the time I asked about him and found that he was already well known in the hobby for making and selling fakes. Not just chips, but most of the stuff he sold in the store. For example, in the auction there are 100's of room keys from long closed Las Vegas casinos and they are all in NEW condition. That is only possible if he had them made himself. He was tolerated then, why should any action take place now that he is gone. The question for me is: Why was he allowed to remain a CCA member when it was well known that he was selling fakes? Maybe it was because most of the stuff he sold was low value, so no one cared that much. But, I came to understand that this high end chip, was also one of his creations:
