I Examined the Chip
In Response To: Re: Rich Burgel fake AC chips? ()

At the Atlantic City Casino Collectors Club meeting today I was able to examine John's $100 Park Place chip. Immediately noticeable is that cross-hatching on the inlay does not match the cross-hatching on the chip. It is definitely doctored. By "doctored", I mean that: as it is now is not the way it was when it left the manufacturer. The inlay is also suspect, it is blurry and the print is weak, so I think that it is a copy.
