SOME PEOPLE HAVE COMPULSIONS TO GAMBLE, SOME TO AMASS FORTUNES AND OTHER’S, THEY JUST LIKE TO WRITE STORIES; YEAH, THAT WOULD BE ME. I WAS NEVER VERY GOOD AT IT ; BUT I HAVE DONE IT OVER THE YEARS JUST THE SAME.
IF ANY OF YOU WANT ANY INSIDE INFORMATION ON ANY CASINO THAT I’VE BEEN TO, I WOULD BE HAPPY TO TELL YOU WHAT I CAN.
REGGIE
MANY OF YOU KNOW THAT I ORIGINALLY CAME FROM THE TREASURE STATE OF MONTANA. SO, NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT I HAVE MADE DOZENS OF TRIPS UP TO MONTANA.
I HAVE HARVESTED CHIPS AT THE BIG SLICK CARD ROOM A COUPLE OF TIMES. ONE OF WHICH WAS A “HIT AND RUN”, OF WHICH I WILL EXPLAIN IN A FUTURE HARVEST STORY. THE OTHER WAS FIRST TIME I HAD EVER BEEN THERE. I HAD TO TALK TO THE CARD ROOM MANAGER ABOUT AN HOUR BEFORE HE FELT I WAS DESERVING. I HAD TO EXPLAIN OUR CLUB, THE ADVERTISING VALUE OF HIS CHIPS ETC, ETC.
HE LIKED TO TALK ABOUT THE BIG TOURNAMENT HE HAS EVERY YEAR AT THE DOC HOLIDAY CARD ROOM, THAT DRAWS SEVERAL BIG NAME TOURNAMENT PLAYERS UP TO MONTANA. ONE WAS DOYLE BRUNSON’S SON TODD BRUNSON AND ANOTHER WAS LAYNE FLACK, A LOCAL BOY. ACTUALLY IT WAS VERY ENTERTAINING TO HEAR THE CARD ROOM STORIES FROM THIS PROFESSIONAL CARD ROOM MANAGER. AND THIS IS A DEFINITE CASE OF I NEVER BOUGHT (EITHER TIME) NEAR ENOUGH CHIPS …REGGIE
