I have a derby wheel that looks like the top for a great table game. It’s about 5’ in diameter. With a push of a button, the lights start going round and round and an odds reel starts spinning. This last about 15 seconds and then stops to show the winning horse and the odds. It obviously required someone to ‘manage’ the game. I’ve heard it may have been a show piece at the 1938 or 1939 gambling convention and presented by Pat Buckley. This may have introduced the Track Odds machine. I’m hoping the picture is included in this post, but feel free to reach out to me.
