I definitely see mention on the bar in 1938, and in 1939 three slot machines were stolen from it.
Looks like owner who sold the "Wonder Lode Bar and Hotel" in April 1946 was named L. H. Childs (likely the "Les" on the matchbook because there was a Les Childs in town), and in October 1946 there was notice of it being sold by Len Haffey, Fred Young and Pete Colletti. I'm not sure if these were old partners or new ones.
Gordon Lane ran the club after that until it was destroyed by fire in 1950. Reports of liquor and gambling equipment being thrown in the street as the building burned indicates there was still gaming in 1950.
